Pro-tech Pavers Ltd are proud to make a difference in the community we live and work in and have now committed to making regular monthly donations to the Black Country Food Bank. We work all over the Black Country and beyond ‘doing our job’ but feel it is also important in these challenging times to give something back to those in need often through circumstances beyond their control.
It is with grateful thanks to Pro-Tech Pavers that The Eddge Foundation are able to promote their work due to their significant sponsorship. The Eddge Foundation was launched in memory of Eddie Geach who battled Oesophageal Cancer and inconceivably passed at the age of 57 in May 2018, he was a true advocate of the fight against this devastating disease. Oesophageal cancer is a largely unrecognised form of the disease and one which can go undiagnosed until it’s later stages. Whilst Ed was still with us the Foundation was conceived as a single thought to ensure his bravery and determination would never go unmarked. Ed would have been so proud and delighted at the achievements in his name and the support we are now being able to provide to worthy causes. We are speaking with Mary Stevens Hospice presently and intend to fund some of the much needed comfort in their new family apartment. This will be as a direct result of supporters of Eddge, their kindness, their time and their pride in raising funds and above all awareness of oesophageal cancer which is the direct aim. We as a family are so lucky to have had Ed in our lives and our work as a Foundation keeps him alive in our hearts … without companies like Pro-Tech Pavers who donated without a second thought and without the unthinking time provided by so many, our vision would be not be realised.
